The Libyan tyrant, and the Muslims rulers are partners in the crime of military intervention
The Libyan tyrant, through his bloody massacres, and the Muslims rulers, through their feebleness in supporting Libya, are partners in the crime of military intervention by France, Britain and the US!
Overnight, on 19-20 March 2011, the Western states started air raids and launched rockets from the sea upon some sites in Libya. These countries took advantage of the feebleness of the Muslims’ rulers, particularly in the neighboring country, Egypt, in supporting the Libyan people so as to save them from the massacres committed by Gaddafi, his henchmen and his mercenaries…
It is truly a tragedy that through his bloody massacres, the Libyan tyrant provided an atmosphere for military intervention in Libya … It is a further tragedy that the Arab rulers, in fact all the rulers of Muslim lands, also contributed to this intervention through not supporting Libya against this tyrant … Their duty was to move the armies to support the Libyan people so as to break the back of the tyrant, without the intervention of Western powers in the Muslim countries … And it is a third tragedy that the Muslims have admitted a poisonous snake into their homes to stop harm upon them!
The Libyan tyrant, through his bloody massacres, and these rulers, through their not supporting the people of Libya so as to rescue them from the tyrant, are partners in the crime of creating the atmosphere for militarily intervention by Western countries, after political intervention in the form of the UN Security Council Resolution 1973, under the excuse of humanitarian rescue for the people of Libya, whilst these countries know nothing of humanity. They only know about material reward and not any reward, but an exorbitant reward through realizing their interests in the Muslim countries!
O Muslims, how can the Ummah live in harmony, if she forgets Allah’s statement,
“But if they seek your aid in Deen, it is your duty to help them.” [Surah al-Anfaal 8:72]
and does not give support to her brothers in Islam against the oppressor, Gaddafi? How can the Ummah have a blessed living, if she forgets the words of the Messenger of Allah
“‘The Believers are like a supported building’ and RasulAllah clasped his fingers together.” (Bukhari)
How can the Ummah stand on its own feet, of it does not see anyone to save her from the tyranny of its rulers, but its enemies?!
O Muslims: The affliction of this Ummah is its rulers … and then the Ummah’s silence over the crimes of these oppressor rulers and their tyranny. The Ummah is afflicted by the punishment that the rulers are afflicted by, not only in the Hereafter, but even in this world, as she sees her enemy bombing her lands and roaming in the skies, violating her sanctities.
“And fear the tumult which afflicts not only those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment.” [Surah Al-Anfal 8:25]
The oppressor is seized by his injustice, whilst the oppressed are seized by their silence over the oppression. Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه said that he heard RasulAllah صلى الله عليه و سلم say,
“If people saw the oppressor and did not stop him, Allah will punish them with him.” (Ahmed).
For the sake of their corrupt, false thrones, these rulers have no qualms, neither about shedding blood nor serving the enemy nor selling the country and its people … their thrones are their lords,
“Allah’s curse be on them, how they are deluded form the truth!” [Surah At-Tawba 9:30]
The tyrant of Libya knows that the people do not want him. He also knows that Britain, which brought him to rule for forty years, will dump him on the road side once his role is spent, a role which has almost been spent if not completely spent already. He should have taken a lesson from those before him and if he were wise, he should have left ruling. But he preferred to end upon the massacre of the Muslims in Libya and the intervention of the enemies of the Muslims, with no regard for either Allah or His Messenger or the believers!
O Muslims, O rulers in Muslim lands, O rulers of Egypt Al-Kanaanah (Fortress): Is there not a wise man amongst you, one who would put right the matter before it is too late and move his army to Libya to rescue her from the tyrant Gaddafi, bringing relief to the people of Libya and ending any justification that the West uses to violate the Libyan airspace and territories, with its airplanes and missiles? Is there not a single wise man amongst you to end this Western military intervention which is humiliating the Muslims? It really is a tragedy, one of the misfortunes of this world, that the oppressed do not find anyone to save them from the oppressor but their enemy! Is it difficult for one and a half billion people to save Libya from the tyranny of Gaddafi, rather than compelling the people to opt for their enemy to save them?!
O Muslims: Isn’t it time for you to acknowledge that which Hizb ut-Tahrir was, and still is, calling you to: the establishment of the Khilafah, the protector of the lands and its people, which will break the backs of the enemy?
“Imam is the shield; you fight behind him, and he shields you.” (Muslim)
Isn’t it time for you to realize that this Muslim Ummah, which under the Khilafah was called upon by the oppressed of the world to remove the oppression upon them, is now under man-made systems and tyrant rulers, such that it cannot remove the oppression upon itself? … . However, the extreme is a sign of impending relief, and the darkness of the night is followed by the dawn, and Islam is arising with force to seize the oppressors and the enemies of Islam from where they did not expect.
And Allah has full power and control over His affairs; but most amongst humankind do not know that.” [Surah Yusuf 12:21]
