O People of Summits!

Al-Quds will not be liberated by the arrangement of words in praise of it on the tongue; it will be liberated by the arrangement of armies to fight the Jewish state on the battlefield!

The Arab rulers completed their twenty-second summit this afternoon, the 28th of March 2010, in Sirte, Libya. It lasted two days and was preceded by a preparatory meeting of Foreign Ministers on the 25th and 26th of March in which they prepared the agenda of the Summit. The resolutions of the summit were replete with same old discussions…the peace process, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Arab initiative, the rejection of the Jews taking Haram al-Ibrahimi and the Bilal Masjid…rejecting the policy of settlements and the consequent direct or indirect negotiations…the situation in Iraq and the UAE islands, promoting peace and development in Sudan, Somalia and the Comoros, making the region free of nuclear weapons, etc. There was also a decision to hold an extraordinary conference later in the year in which the Summit participants will effectively exchange greetings! All the resolutions were futile and worthless, devoid of any meaning, to the extent that even the final summit statement was read out in a hurry as if those who came up with it were ashamed of it!

However, there are two things worthy of notice which took place during the proceedings of the Summit:

1. The feverish attempts of the agents of Britain to influence the decisions of the Arab league and for the League to be maintained. In this regard, Yemen proposed the establishment of an ‘Arab Union’ instead of the Arab League. It was clear that Yemen was in agreement on this with the Summit Chairman (Gaddafi), the ruler of Libya, as the Libyan delegation immediately stood up in support of the resolution, which Gaddafi then said was approved. Further, Gaddafi, who is the chairman of the current session of the summit, requested privileges for himself as the head of the summit such that he have the right to account the Secretary-General of the League, and to convene an extraordinary summit. Furthermore, Qatar proposed the formation of a committee under direct supervision of the Summit Chairman. All of this indicates that the British, through their agents, intend to penetrate the League, or to form an alternative organization. This is because the Arab League was created by the British on the 22nd of March 1945, yet in recent times America has taken the upper hand in it and has greater influence on its decisions. Hence its headquarters are in Cairo, and the President of the Egyptian regime, an agent of America, is its guard and protector. However these British attempts are unlikely to succeed. They are most probably no more than a testing of affairs to see how things go, to then decide on the next steps depending on the outcome.

2. The issue of al-Quds (Jerusalem), which the resolutions discussed with that which pleased the participants of speech. They proudly and ‘triumphantly’ announced that they had prepared a plan for rescuing al-Quds based on three pivots: political, legal and financial. Thus they called on the Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities and move to take the steps and mechanisms needed to resolve the Arab-‘Israeli’ conflict…they decided to also go to the International Court of Justice to fight the ‘Israeli’ crimes in the holy city…and they decided to support al-Quds with the amount of half a billion dollars to oppose the ‘Israeli’ settlement plans. Following this came the decision to appoint a commissioner general for al-Quds within the framework of the Arab League! Last but not least we saw fierce competition in love for al-Quds and praise for al-Aqsa: in the preparatory meeting the Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry scored a point over his colleagues by announcing that Egypt had ‘proposed’ that the summit be named the al-Quds Summit. The permanent representative of Syria to the Arab League retorted that his nation was the one which had ‘requested’ the Arab Foreign Ministers to name the summit such. Thus the Arabs were equal in points, regardless of whether they call themselves moderates or resistors. Erdogan, for whom America has designed a role of strong verbal opposition in the region, had even greater love for al-Quds and praise of it to express. Had it not been that the Jewish Army Chief of Staff, Gabi Ashkenazi, was recently in Turkey to attend a military-security conference on invitation from Erdogan, people would have thought that Erdogan, given his strong language, intended to declare war against the Jewish state!

O People! These rulers have min ds with which they think not, ears with which they hear not, and eyes with which they see not. Indeed it is not the eyes which have become blind, but the hearts within the chests! How can al-Quds be liberated by a commissioner general who has no authority over the matter whatsoever? Or by financial support which cannot even reach it except under Jewish control? Or by a call to the Security-Council which itself established the Jewish State in Palestine!? Or by going to the International Tribunal which does not affirm the truth nor resist falsehood? Or by strong words about love for al-Quds, whilst the speaker opens in his land an embassy for the Jewish state, and hosts the invaders of al-Quds as guests!?

O People! Some amongst you used to say that the rulers, although they have abandoned Palestine, will not abandon al-Quds and al-Aqsa, if not out of fear of Allah, then out of pure shame…but here now is al-Quds being reduced from its sides, nay from its heart, from its dome and its masjid. The Jews are meddling with its bottom and its top, ridding the earth underneath it, violating its sanctity from above, and filling its surroundings with settlements. Furthermore, the Jewish state gifted the Summit, on the eve of its convention, an aggression upon Gaza, and a strong announcement about continuing the policy of building settlements in al-Quds without any change. In spite of all this, the rulers of the Muslim lands watch and listen, they meet and exchange handshakes, eat and laugh, whilst they remain engaged in arrogant vanities.

O Muslims! Al-Quds will only be liberated by a leader who is sincere to Allah and loyal to His Messenger  , who leads the Muslim army and gathers in it all those able to fight as soldiers. A leader who is strong and has taqwa. A leader who revives the seerah of Umar al-Farūq, who liberated al-Quds in 15AH, and who made the ‘Umari treaty which included the clause that the Jews would not reside in al-Quds…and the seerah of Salah al-Din who liberated al-Quds from the filth of the Crusaders in 583AH, whose Qadi, Muhyi al-Din, opened the first Friday khutbah in al-Aqsa after its liberation with the noble ayah,

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

“So the roots of the people who did wrong were cut off, and Praise is for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds” (al-An’am: 45)…and the seerah of Abdul Hamid al-Thani who protected al-Quds and prevented Theodore Herzl and his ilk from taking it in spite of the large sums of money they offered; he replied to them, in 1901, “Palestine is not my private property, it belongs to my nation, who have watered it with their blood. The Jews may keep their millions. To have a scalpel cut my body is less painful than to witness Palestine being detached from my state and this is not going to happen.”

Al-Quds will only be liberated from the gangs of the Jews by the Muslim armies coming to them from where they least expect, and striking therefrom with strikes that make them forget the whispers of shaytan; by columns of soldiers rushing towards one of the two great outcomes: victory or matrydom…as Allah (swt) says,

فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ«

“If you overcome them in war, then make of them an example, to strike fear into those that are behind them, that they may take heed.” (al-Anfāl: 57); and He (swt) says,

وَأَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ

“And expel them out from where they expelled you…” (al-Baqara: 191)

O Armies in the Muslim lands! There is no argument or excuse, so do not say that the rulers prevent you, for the power lies in your hands. You are the ones who protect them. Their necks are in your hands. If you obey them you fall in sin and transgression and will not be present at the Pond [al-hawd] of the Messenger of Allah  . And if you do not assist them in their oppression, nor affirm them in their lies, the Messenger of Allah   will be of you, and you will be of him   and will be at his Pond. How excellent is the reward of those who work! Al-Tirmidhi narrates from Ka’b ibn Ujrah that he said, “The Messenger of Allah   said to me him, ‘I place you, O Kab ibn Ujrah, in Allah’s protection from some rulers who come after me. So, he who enters upon their doors, affirms their lies and assists them in their oppression, he is not of me and I am not of him, and he will never come to me at the Pond. And he who enters their doors, or does not enter, and does not affirm their lies or assist them in their oppression, he is of me and I am of him and he will come to me at the Pond.’”

O Armies in the Muslim lands! Hizb ut-Tahrir calls you for the nusrah to establish the Khilafah, so support it. It urges you to fight the Jews in Palestine, so respond. Indeed fighting the Jews and being victorious over them is recorded in the Book of Allah, the Exalted,

فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَنْ يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ عُدْتُمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيراً

“And when came the time appointed for the second, (We sent others) so that they spoil your faces, and so that they enter into the Mosque as the former ones entered it the first time, and utterly destroy whatever they prevail upon.” (al-Isrā: 7); and it is recorded in the hadith of the Messenger of Allah  , “You will fight the Jews and you will kill them, to the extent that the stone will say, “O Muslim, here is a Jew, come and kill him.” (Muslim)

Thus is there not amongst you any right-minded man who would respond by mobilising his soldiers, treading over any ruler that stands in his way, establishing the rule of Islam on Earth – the Khilafah Rashidah – liberating al-Aqsa, and reciting in the first khutbah after its liberation what Qadi Muhyi al-Din recited,

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ«

“So the roots of the people who did wrong were cut off, and Praise is for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds” (al-An’am: 45).  Then on count of this Allah will mention of him amongst those near to Him, the angels of heaven will be in envy of him,  as will the righteous on Earth; his will be honour in this world and the next, and that is the great success!

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَجِيبُواْ لِلّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُم لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

“O you who believe! Respond to the call of Allah and the Messenger when they call you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes between a man and his heart, and that unto Him you shall be gathered.” [al-Anfal: 24]
