Muslims are in Need of the Khilafah ar-Rashida to Provide Them with Security and Justice
They are not in Need of Empty Reform Packages
(Translated)
On the 11th of April 2013 Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir were arrested in Ardrum for being Muslims that carry out their obligation ordered by Allah, which is working to establish a Khilafah that will apply the provisions of the Shari’ah of Allah to the people – and for no other guilt. Trials that violate their rights were conducted, whereby Murad Ghantash, Muhammad Hanafi Engin, Farhat Anjah Qan, Cengiz Karakosh and Raf’at Asan were arrested and imprisoned. After three months, the court released them.
However, after a short time of six months the same court issued an expedited decision on 10/02/2013, ordering Murad Ghantash, Muhammad Hanafi Engin, Farhat Anjah Qan, Cengiz Karakosh, Raf’at Asan, Haji Kaya, Ismail Kaya and Yunus Sizar with prison sentences of a combined 50 years.
There are no compelling reasons for these heavy penalties, except that those sincere brothers worked for the establishment of the Khilafah. Placing these sincere Muslims in cells under the pretext of fighting terrorism is irrefutable evidence of the hostility of the Turkish Republic against Islam. There is no other interpretation of the happenings.
The Government from the Justice and Development Party, as well as the security and judicial institutes need to abandon the application of procedures and issuing of decisions based on their whims against sincere Muslims who did at no time assault an individual or his wealth. Those actions of rights violations which started its implementation with the coup of February 28, 1997 are still applied to sincere Muslims from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir. The ill-treatment suffered by Muslims from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, which conduct political and intellectual work, have no political, legal or humane justification. Rather it conclusively proves the continuation of the coup period of February 28 under the supervision of the current government.
It is worth mentioning that under these procedures that have been applied in the coup of February 28, the elderly Shah Mardan Sari and his companions were sentenced to heavy prison sentences for many years. After serving 10 years in prison and two years after their release from prison, again the same charges were filed against them under the same pretext. This elderly and his companions were sentenced to heavy penalties totaling 100 years in prison in their last few days. Again this provision is conclusive evidence on the continued application of the provisions of the February 28.
The Kemalist Secular State which only yesterday accused every Muslim and stigmatized him with backwardness and imposed heavy penalties on him, this state has not changed, simply the faces that represent it and apply its law have changed. This state has taken the status of a democratic state to be able to issue heavy sanctions against Muslim activists who want the Khilafah.
These heavy penalties have not taken the wind out of our sincere brothers’ sails, rather they increased them in their Iman, their patience and steadfastness. Undoubtedly this injustice not only befell Muslims but all people in Turkey and in all countries of the world. Its cause is the absence of a rightly guided Khilafah which will establish justice among the people. The Muslims are not in need of empty packages described as reforms. They are in need of the justice and security of Islam.
Allah Almighty said:
((وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ))
“And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.” [Ash-Shu’ara, 26:227]
