Wife of Dr. Ismael Condemns Regime’s Thugs Making a Mockery of Pakistan, a State Established in the Name of Islam

Today, Dr. Ismael Sheikh’s wife, Mrs. Munira, and her lawyer, Mr. Umar Hayat Sindhoo, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, held a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Karachi, Sindh. Advocate Umar briefed the media regarding Dr. Ismael Sheikh’s abduction and the judicial process that has so far taken place.

Dr. Ismael Sheikh was abducted by agencies of the Raheel-Nawaz regime on Friday, 18th of April 2014, after 9:30 am, as he left his home. The very same day at around 2:00 pm around twelve to thirteen men in plain clothes arrived in police mobile vehicles, bearing weapons, and forcefully entered his house, without any lady official amongst them. They seized the passports of the family of Dr. Ismael, his wife and daughters, laptops of Dr. Ismael Sheikh and his wife, mobile phones, original registration books of two cars along with the cars, original documents of the ownership of the house, some cash and jewelry.

Advocate Umar said that on 21st April 2014 a constitutional petition, number 2094, was filed in Sindh High court and its first hearing took place on 22nd of April 2014 presided by a divisional bench. The divisional bench issued notices to the relevant authorities and departments and passed an order to produce Dr. Ismael Sheikh on 30th April 2014. However, since then, several hearings have taken place but the regime’s thugs have not produced him, making a mockery of Pakistani judicial orders, in an act of gross contempt of court. They have repeatedly threatened and harassed the womenfolk of Dr. Ismael to stop their campaign to secure the release of Dr. Ismael, making mockery of the Islamic values which form the bedrock of Pakistani society. Moreover, the thugs of the Raheel-Nawaz regime make mockery of Pakistan itself, which was founded in the name of Islam, by silencing a respected advocate of the Khilafah, Dr. Ismael Sheikh.

The wife of Dr. Ismael and her advocate said that Dr.Ismael is a renowned dental surgeon and thousands of students and patients have benefited from his expertise. He has devoted his life for Islam and its Ummah. He believes in political and intellectual struggle and had never indulged in any criminal activity. Mrs. Munira and her advocate urged the media, human rights and lawyers organizations to highlight Dr. Ismael’s ordeal and play their role in securing his release. Or are we to be silent before this gross injustice and allow the rule of thugs and criminal to prevail?

ڈاکٹر اسماعیل کی بیوی نے حکومتی غنڈوں کی مذمت کی جو اسلام کے نام پر قائم پاکستان کا مذاق اڑارہے ہیں

آج ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کی بیوی اور ان کے وکیل جناب عمر حیات سندھو ایڈوکیٹ سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان نے کراچی پریس کلب میں پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کیا۔ ایڈوکیٹ عمر حیات سندھو نے میڈیا کو ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کے اغوا اور اب تک کی عدالتی کاروائی سے آگاہ کیا۔

ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کو جمعہ 18 اپریل 2014 کی صبح تقریباً نو  بج کر تیس منٹ پر  راحیل-نواز حکومت کی ایجنسیوں کے  اہلکاروں نے ان کی گاڑی سمیت اغوا کرلیا جب وہ  اپنے گھر سے  نکلے ہی تھے۔ پھر اسی دن تقریباً دو بجے دوپہر بارہ سے تیرہ سادہ لباس  اہلکار  کلاشنکوفوں سے لیس بلٹ پروف جیکٹوں میں ملبوس پولیس موبائلوں میں ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کے گھر پہنچےاور زبردستی گھر میں داخل ہوگئے جبکہ ان کے ساتھ کوئی خاتون اہلکار بھی نہیں تھیں۔  ان لوگوں  نےڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کی تمام فیملی کے اصل پاسپورٹ، ڈاکٹر اسماعیل اور ان کی بیوی کے لیپ ٹاپ،ان کے  موبائل فون، دو گاڑیوں کی اصل رجسٹریشن کاپیاں، گھر کی اصل ملکیتی دستاویزات، کچھ نقدی اور زیورات قبضے میں لے لیے ۔

ایڈوکیٹ عمر نے کہا کہ21 اپریل 2014 کو ایک رٹ پٹیشن نمبر 2094 سندھ ہائی کورٹ میں دائر کی گئی جس کی باقاعدہ سماعت 22 اپریل 2014 کو سندھ ہائی کورٹ کی ڈویژن بینچ میں ہوئی۔ اس ڈویژنل بینچ نے متعلقہ حکام اور اداروں کو نوٹس جاری کیے اور یہ حکم دیا کہ 30اپریل 2014 کو ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کو پیش کیا جائے۔  اس وقت سے کئی پیشیاں ہو چکی ہیں لیکن حکومتی غنڈوں نے انہیں آج پیش نہیں کیا جو کہ پاکستان کے عدالتی نظام کا مذاق اڑا نے کے مترادف اور توہین عدالت ہے۔ یہ حکومتی غنڈے  مسلسل ڈاکٹر اسماعیل کے گھر کی خواتین کو خوفزدہ کرنے کی کوشش کرتے رہے تا کہ وہ ان کی رہائی کی کوششوں سے باز آجائیں۔ دراصل راحیل-نواز حکومت کے غنڈوں نے  خلافت کے داعی ڈاکٹر اسماعیل شیخ کی زبان بندی کی کو شش کر کےپاکستان کے وجود کا مذاق اڑایا ہے جو اسلام کے نام پر قائم کیا گیا تھا۔

ڈاکٹر اسماعیل کی بیوی اور ان کے وکیل نے کہا کہ ڈاکٹر اسماعیل ایک مشہور و معروف ڈینٹل سرجن ہیں جن کی خدمات سے ہزاروں طالب علم اور مریض فیضیاب ہو چکے ہیں ۔ انہوں نے اپنی زندگی کو اسلام اور اس کی امت مسلمانوں کے لئے وقف کررکھا ہے۔ وہ فکری و سیاسی جدوجہد پر یقین رکھنے واے شخص ہیں اور کبھی بھی کسی مجرمانہ سرگرمی میں ملوث نہیں رہے۔ مسز منیرا اور ان کے وکیل نے میڈیا، انسانی حقوق اور وکلاء کی تنظیموں  سے مطالبہ کیا کہ وہ ڈاکٹر اسماعیل کے ساتھ روا رکھے جانے والے ظلم  کو اجاگر کریں  اور ان کی بازیابی کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کریں کیونکہ اگر  آپ  اس ظلم کے خلاف خاموش رہے تو یہ غنڈوں اور مجرموں کو تقویت بخشنے کا باعث ہو گا۔
