Caring for the Blessed Ummah of RasulAllah (saaw)
The Muslim is compelled to care for the Islamic Ummah for he is bonded to it by the strongest bond of all, the bond of Imaan. The Muslim’s bond with the Ummah is stronger than the bonds of family and is likened to a single brotherhood, for Allah (swt) said,
إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةٌ۬
“The believers are but a brotherhood.”[Surah Hujaraat 49:10]
The bond of Iman instills the longing for collective well-being, which overrides the selfish tendencies. The bond of Iman binds the believers as if they were one whole body, connected by blood vessels and nerves, such that the suffering of any of its parts causes restlessness and pain in the whole being. RasulAllah (saaw) said,
مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَوَاصُلِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ الْوَاحِدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالْحُمَّى وَالسَّهَر
“The parable of the believers in relation to the kindness, mercy and compassion they have for each other, is that of the body: when an organ of it falls ill, the rest of the body responds with fever and sleeplessness.”[Muslim].
The believer regards himself inseparable from the Ummah and a means to strengthen her into a strongly, constructed fortress. RasulAllah (saaw) said,
الْمُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ يَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا
“A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other.”
وَشَبَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ
The Prophet then interlaced his fingers.[Bukhari]

رسول اللہ ﷺ کی پیاری امت کی فکر کرنا اور اس کا خیال رکھنا
ایک مسلمان اسلامی امت کی فکر کرنے پر مجبور ہے کیونکہ وہ اس کے ساتھ سب سے مضبوط بندھن کے ساتھ جڑا ہوا ہے اور وہ بندھن ایمان کاہے۔ مسلمان کا امت کے ساتھ یہ رشتہ اس کے اپنے خاندان کے ساتھ رشتے سے زیادہ مضبوط ہوتا ہے اوریہ ایک بھائی چارے کا رشتہ ہےکیونکہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا،
إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةٌ۬
“سارے مسلمان بھائی بھائی ہیں” (الحجرات:10)۔
ایمان کا رشتہ اس بات پر مجبور کرتا ہے کہ اجتماعی خیر کی جستجو کی جائے اور یہ بات ذاتی خواہشات پر غالب آجاتی ہے۔ ایمان کا رشتہ مسلمانوں کو اس طرح جوڑتا ہے جیسے کہ وہ ایک ہی جسم کے حصے ہیں جو ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ خون کی شریانوں اور اعصاب کے ساتھ جڑے ہوئے ہیں، اور پھر جسم کے کسی ایک حصے میں تکلیف پورے جسم میں تکلیف کا باعث بن جاتا ہے۔ رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا،
مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَوَاصُلِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ الْوَاحِدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالْحُمَّى وَالسَّهَر
“ایمان والوں کی مثال ایک دوسرے کے لیے رحم اور شفقت کے حوالے سے ایسی ہے جیسا کہ ایک جسم: جب اس کا ایک عضو بیمار ہوتا ہے تو پورا جسم بخار اور بے آرامی میں مبتلا ہوجاتا ہے “(مسلم)۔
