A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Turkey Heads to the Pakistani Embassy Demanding the Release of Brother Naveed Butt the Official Spokesman in Pakistan

On 11 May 2012, a group of unknown bandits belonging to the Pakistani regime kidnapped the spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Pakistan, brother Naveed Butt when he was with his family and children, and since then there has been no news about him. Brother Naveed, who was working to unite the Muslims under one roof towards the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah once again, was only one of the many dawah carriers who pledged to call for the good and to follow the footsteps of the predecessors, baring all difficulties for its sake.

Today a delegation of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Turkey headed to the Pakistani Embassy and requested to meet with the ambassador to discuss the release of the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Pakistan, Brother Naveed Butt. After accepting the request, officials were presented the statement issued by Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Pakistan in Turkish, Urdu, Arabic, and English, titled:

﴿وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللهِ العَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ﴾

“And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy” [Al-Buruj: 8]

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Turkey say to the Pakistani regime, the bandits specifically, and to the other oppressive regimes in general: You all know that your oppressive practices against the sincere members of Hizb ut Tahrir will not discourage them but will strengthen their resolve and reward; your pursuance, fabrications, arrests, kidnappings, and killings will not discourage Hizb ut Tahrir from proceeding towards its goal. These practices will not be able to block the completion of the promise of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) of the second rightly-guided Khalifah, and they will not benefit you but rather they will increase your crimes and thus increasing your punishment from Allah (swt).

﴿وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ﴾

“And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]” [Ibrahim: 42]
