Open Letter from Hizb ut-Tahrir to America’s guardian in Pakistan, General Kayani

Peace be upon those who tread the path of guidance,

We send you this letter as you are about to embark on new initiatives to further endanger the country with respect to Pakistan’s eastern and western borders, and all that lies in between. And we write to you at a time when the Ummah is rising up to depose tyrant rulers, from Ben Ali to Bashaar al-Assad, one after another in her march towards Khilafah. We address you as you are America’s chief guardian of the kufr, colonialist system in Pakistan, who achieved ruling not through a legitimate Bayah, given by consent and choice by the Ummah, but with the foreign support of the Americans and under their instruction and command, as their reward for your career of treachery.

You earned America’s praise and the anger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى even before America chose you as its key agent, chosen from a market of agents for the foreigners. During the time of your predecessor, Musharraf, you assisted him for over a decade to establish America’s military and intelligence presence to unprecedented levels within our borders. You shared in Musharraf’s sinful treason as you helped open the doors for America in the region, using the resources of the Ummah against herself, by granting air corridors, land routes and bases that were essential for the invasion of Afghanistan. Then when America was assailed by the brave Muslims of the tribal areas, besieged and shaken, you as chief of ISI were the key to the massacre in Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa, which was a bloody introduction to a war of Fitna in the tribal areas. A costly war in which you helped turn the strength of the Ummah against her, for her armed forces and the mujahideen should have stood as one hand against the kuffar invaders. Instead you helped to sacrifice thousands of Muslim soldiers and tens of thousands of Muslim civilians to protect the illegitimate and brutal occupation by crusader forces that desecrate the Quran, urinate on the corpses of the martyrs, slay the children and dishonor the women.

As for the Hindu enemy, you and Musharraf abandoned the Muslims of Kashmir, declaring Jihad against the Hindu occupying forces a crime. You both thereby bolstered Hindu schemes against the Muslims, such that the Hindu began exploiting matters in Baluchistan and the tribal areas, after your master America, with your help, extended India a new presence in neighboring Afghanistan from which she can launch her mischief.

Then as Musharraf’s mask began to slip, your colonialist masters, the American, were forced to seek the support of their competitors in the affairs of Pakistan, the British. So you, General, scurried here and there to broker a deal with Benazir Bhutto to stabilize Musharraf and the colonialist system in Pakistan. You assisted so ably that when Musharraf’s mask fell completely, the then Deputy Secretary of State, John Negroponte, appointed you personally as America’s agent ruler in Pakistan and commanded you for hours, before proceeding to discharge Musharraf, who had outlived his usefulness, a lesson for you if only you would learn its real message.

This promotion, and the subsequent extension to your service, both sanctioned by Washington, only increased your determination to serve America even more. Learning from Musharraf’s mistake, America provided you two of her agents, Gillani and Zardari, as a mask for you. So that you can busy yourself in assisting her, undisturbed, they unleashed kufr capitalist policies which denied the Muslims of affordable and available basic needs, oil, gas, electricity, education and health, despite Pakistan’s abundant resources, drowning them in hardships and crises so that they cannot even take a breath that is long enough to utter a word against you. And part of that plan, called “creative chaos” by the Americans, is to replace that mask with another from the market of agents, by replacing Gillani and Zardari with a new King’s party that you are raising now.

And how you busied yourself! As America used its private military organizations, armies of Raymond Davis’s, that targeted the armed forces through bombings, and assassinations, you herded the armed forces into the tribal areas. Then when America invaded Abbotabad, you scurried here and there to quell the anger of the armed forces, your mask slipping as your personal handiwork became more visible. So, after the visit of your close confidante, the American armed forces commander, Mike Mullen, you initiated a campaign to purge the armed forces of any voice that questioned the American presence in the country. Then when America and NATO attacked the Salala check-post and anger increased to overwhelming levels, you closed the NATO supply line to reduce the anger. But this was just a ploy to steady your falling mask, as you then scurried again, here and there, to create a drama within the parliament to allow the re-opening of the supply line.

However, we assure you that your mask has fallen to the point that even those nearest to you have begun to renounce you through the shame you have bought upon them and as for those playing lip service to you now, they only deceive you and will not save you. Yet, just like Musharraf in his last days, you scurry here and there, not heeding the warnings, desperately hoping to extend your usefulness, stretching out new chapters in treachery before you.

Having herded the armed forces into the tribal areas on the pretext that India has expanded its influence there, you are now seeking to subjugate Pakistan before that same India. You echo the words of your masters, calling for normalization with India, even as you stand over the bodies of martyred jawaans, granting her access through Pakistan to the wealth of the Muslim Lands of the Middle East and Central Asia, even though the bigoted Hindu State has been unable to bestow justice and fair dealings even within its borders, whether upon Muslim, Sikh or any one else other than a small Hindu Brahmin elite. You are herding the Muslims towards greater danger yet again, even though the only era of peace and prosperity that this region has enjoyed was under the ruling by Islam for centuries, which ensured that this region became the envy of the world. Yet, you prepare this reckless folly with full vigor, solely because America requires that Pakistan kneels before India as part of a bloc led by India, to counter America’s rival, China.

And you did not desist from working with the Americans to maintain their presence in Afghanistan, concealed by the thin veil of a nominal withdrawal. In fact, you do your best now to expand America’s war even further, into North Waziristan, Karachi and Multan, plotting shamelessly with the likes of the ISAF commander, US General John Allen, whose hands were wetted with the pure Muslim blood of the soldiers of Salala check-post.

Moreover, in preparation for these new chapters in your black book of treason, and as you sense the noose of the gallows nearing your own neck like the other tyrants in the Muslim Lands, you added to your purging of the armed forces of any voices of dissent, by launching a campaign of harassment, persecution, abduction and torture against the sincere and aware politicians of Hizb ut-Tahrir, who have consistently exposed your crimes against Allah سبحانه وتعالى, His Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم and the Believers. So, rather than making way for the officers of the armed forces to give Nussrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir for the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah state, you have joined hands with the Western crusaders who fear a Khilafah more than anything else, warring against the Muslims, their armed forces, the establishment of their state, the Khilafah, and their party, Hizb ut-Tahrir.

You, General, are responsible for reducing a land blessed with resources, a noble Muslim people and powerful Muslim armed forces and the world’s only true Deen, into a battlefield, steeped in humiliation and despair. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَار

“Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief and caused their people to dwell in an abode of destruction. Hell, in which they will burn, is an evil abode, indeed!” [Surah Ibraheem 14:28,29]

We therefore call upon you to repent the misdeeds that you committed in your rule so far and seek forgiveness from your Lord سبحانه وتعالى for the heinous acts committed. The very least that you can do in the hope of atoning for your sins, is to make way for the sincere and capable to succeed you in ruling. If not then you are destined to humiliation at the hands of the Ummah when the Khilafah is re-established, soon by the will of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and what is even worse for you is the severe punishment in the hereafter. Allah سبحانه وتعالى says,

وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ * مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لاَ يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ

“Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the oppressors do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror, hastening forward with necks outstretched, their heads raised up, their gaze returning not towards them and their hearts empty.” [Surah Ibrahim 14:42 & 43]
