Anniversary of the Battle of Badr:

Occupied Kashmir Demands Liberation by the Khilafah, the Shield of the Ummah

As we remember with pride, the visionary leadership and brave fighting men that led to victory in the Battle of Badr, let us consider the situation in Occupied Kashmir. Brutal Hindu troops continue to oppress the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir in Ramdhan, in their latest long campaign that begun last summer and has so far included the use of pellet guns to blind and the tying of a Muslim to a jeep as a human shield. The seven decades long oppression in Occupied Kashmir is a painful confirmation of why our forefathers sacrificed so much to establish Pakistan, knowing well that were the Hindus to have any degree of authority over us, they are incapable of justice. And today we shed tears and grieve, with the knowledge that tens of thousands of our brothers and sisters have been martyred, thousands have been injured or blinded and hundreds of our sisters have been raped by the Hindu mushrikeen, including the dozens gang raped by Hindu troops on February 23, 1991 during the “search and interrogation” operation in the twin villages of Kunan and Poshpora, that was met with international outcry.

Yet, instead of having a visionary leadership to rouse our brave officers and troops to liberate Occupied Kashmir, we are burdened by a visionless leadership that gives loud addresses as a prelude to more inaction and “restraint.” Despite hostiles actions from his Indian counterpart, including the martyrdom of an elderly Muslim in Poonch district on 10 June, Pakistan’s Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, remains motionless. In fact, on that very day, Bajwa instead tried to pour water on the fire that burns in the breasts of our troops stationed along the Line of Control, by hollowly stating the obvious, “We are aware of defence and security challenges being faced by the country and we are capable to defeat all threats irrespective of the front.” Enough of ineffective and inept military leadership that hides behind words, when jaw-breaking responses are the demand of the time! Enough of a leadership whose hollow words condemn the Muslims of Kashmir to a future full of oppression through a “solution” where the Hindus will be guaranteed an authority over Muslim Land. And we know well that the Hindu cowardly troops could not earn such an authority for themselves on the battle field in seven decades, despite being only confronted by small bands of poorly armed, yet highly motivated Muslims. O for that glorious day, when the Hindus are roundly defeated by a powerful Muslim armed forces, led by a Khaleefah Rashid, raising the flag of RasulAllah (saaw)!

Enough, O Muslims, it is enough! Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan urges the Muslims to restore their shield, the Islamic Khilafah State, so that Ramdhan becomes a month of victory again as it was for centuries. Yes, today, Monday 12 June, corresponds to 17 Ramadhan corresponds to the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, 2 AH. Indeed the Battle of Badr is a reminder for us all that whilst the Muslims had an Imam who ruled by Islam, fearing none but Allah (swt), the Muslims were victorious over their enemies, even when they were greater in number and possessed superior weapons. Muslim narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that RasulAllah (saaw) said,

إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ فَإِنْ أَمَرَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَدَلَ كَانَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ وَإِنْ يَأْمُرْ بِغَيْرِهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ

“The Imaam (of the Muslims) is a shield for them. They fight behind him and they are protected by (him from tyrants and aggressors). If he enjoins fear of God, the Exalted and Glorious, and dispenses justice, there will be a (great) reward for him; and if he enjoins otherwise, it falls back upon him.”

And the Battle of Badr is a reminder that whilst the Muslims were shielded by an Imaam who feared only Allah (swt), the Iman of their fighting men soared, which multiplied their capability, whilst striking fear in their enemies so as to prepare the path for victory. Muslim narrated from Anas (ra), that “RasulAllah (saaw) and his Companions reached Badr before the polytheists, and when they arrived, he (saaw) directed:

لا يقدمن أحد منكم إلى شيء حتى أكون أنا دونه‏

“Let no one of you advance ahead of me.”

When the polytheists came near, the Messenger of Allah (saaw) said,

‏قوموا إلى جنة عرضها السماوات والأرض‏

“Now stand up and proceed towards Jannah which is as wide as are the heavens and the earth.”

‘Umair bin Al-Humam (May Allah be pleased with him) asked: “Is Jannah as wide as are the heaven and the earth?” The Messenger of Allah (saaw) replied in the affirmative. ‘Umair remarked: “Great!” The Messenger of Allah (saaw) asked, ما يحملك على قولك بخ بخ “What had urged you to say so.” He replied: “Nothing, O Messenger of Allah! But hope that I might become one of the inhabitants of Jannah.” The Messenger of Allah (saaw) said, فإنك من أهلها “You will definitely be among them.” ‘Umair then took some dates out of his quiver and began to eat them, but after a short time he said: “If I live so long as to eat my dates, it will mean a long life.” So he threw away the dates which he had with him and then fought with the enemy till he was killed.

However, today, without such a shield, burdened by a visionless leadership, even though the Muslims collectively possess more than three million troops in their armed forces, how do we find ourselves? Without our shield, the body of this Ummah is struck hard by even the smallest of nations, such as the rulers of Burma, as well as the cowardly, such as the Jewish State, the Hindu State and the American crusaders. It is the urgent need of the time for the Muslims in general to fulfill their Islamic duty towards the re-establishment of the Khilafah upon the Method of the Prophethood. And it is the urgent need of the time for the officers of armed forces in particular to free themselves from the criminal rulers of today who restrain them, by granting the Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the re-establishment of the shield of the Ummah.

غزوہ بدر کی سالگرہ :

مقبوضہ کشمیر امت کی ڈھال خلافت کے ذریعے آزادی کا مطالبہ کرتا ہے

آج جب ہم غزوہ بدر کے دن کو یاد کررہے ہیں ، اس قیادت کو یاد کررہے ہیں جو صاحب بصیرت تھی اور اور ان جنگجووں کو یاد کررہے ہیں جو بہادر تھے، تو ہمیں مقبوضہ کشمیر کی صورتحال کو بھی سامنے رکھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ رمضان کے مہینے میں بھی وحشی ہندو فوج نے مقبوضہ کشمیر کے مسلمانوں کے خلاف ظلم و جبر کے سلسلے کو جاری رکھا ہوا ہے۔ ہندو فوج نے موجودہ طویل ظلم و جبر کی مہم پچھلے سال گرمیوں میں شروع کی تھی جس میں پیلٹ گن کے استعمال کے ذریعے لوگوں کو اندھا کیا جارہا ہے اور کہیں انہیں جیپ کے سامنے انسانی ڈھال کے طور پر باندھ کر اپنی حفاظت اور مسلمانوں کی تذلیل کی جارہی ہے۔ مقبوضہ کشمیر میں سات دہائیوں سے جاری طویل ظلم و ستم اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ہمارے آباؤاجداد نے پاکستان کے قیام کے لیے بے مثال قربانیاں کیوں دیں تھیں۔ وہ اچھی طرح سے جانتے تھے کہ ہندو انصاف کرنے کے صلاحیت سے محروم ہے اور اگر اسے مسلمانوں پر کسی بھی درجے کا اختیار حاصل ہوگیا تو مسلمانوں کی زندگی عذاب بن جائے گی۔ اور آج ہم آنسو بہاتے اور افسوس کرتے ہیں   اپنی ان بہنوں کے لیے جن کی عفت و عصمت پر ہندو مشرکین نے حملے کیے اور اپنے ان ہزاروں بہن بھائیوں کے لیے جو شہید ، زخمی یا اندھے کردیے گئے۔ ان مظالم میں 23 فروری 1991 کا وہ دل خراش واقع بھی شامل ہے جب ضلع کپواڑہ کے جڑواں گاوں کنان اور پشپورہ میں تلاشی کے دوران درجنوں مسلم خواتین کی اجتماعی عصمت دری کی گئی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر شور مچ گیا تھا۔

مقبوضہ کشمیر کی اس خوفناک صورتحال میں ہمارے پاس ایسی قیادت ہونی چاہیے تھی جو ہمارے بہادر افسران اور فوجیوں میں مقبوضہ کشمیر کی آزادی کے لیے جوش وولولہ پیدا کرتی لیکن ہم پر ایسی اندھی قیادت مسلط ہے جو اپنی بے عملی کو چھپانے اور ہندو جارحیت کے خلاف”تحمل” کی پالیسی کو جاری رکھنے کے لیے صرف شور مچاتی ہے۔ بھارتی جارحیت کے باوجود ،جس میں 10 جون کو پونچھ میں ایک بزرگ مسلمان کی شہادت بھی شامل ہے،     پاکستان کے آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ حرکت میں نہیں آتے۔ بلکہ اسی دن باجوہ نے اس جارحیت کے خلاف مسلمانوں کے سینوں میں لگی آگ کو ڈھنڈا کرنے کی کوشش کی جب لائن آف کنٹرول پر تعینات ہمارے فوجیوں سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا ، “ہم ملک کو درپیش دفاع اور سیکیورٹی کے چیلنجز سے باخبر ہیں اور ہم اس بات سے قطع نظر کے کون سا محاذ ہے ہر خطرے کو شکست دینے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں”۔ ہمیں ایسی فوجی قیادت نہیں چاہیے جو کھوکھلے الفاظ کا سہارا لے جبکہ منہ توڑ ردعمل وقت کا تقاضا ہو! ہمیں ایسی قیادت نہیں چاہیے جو مقبوضہ کشمیر کے مسلمانوں پر ہونے والے مظالم پر محض کھوکھلے مذمتی بیانات دیتی ہے تا کہ ایسا “حل” مسلط کردیا جائے کہ کشمیر کے مسلمانوں کا مستقبل بھی موجودہ حال کی طرح وحشی ہندو افواج کے مظالم کا سامنا کرنا ہی ہو اور ہندو کو مسلم علاقوں پر اختیار کی یقین دہانی کرادی جائے۔ ہم یہ بات اچھی طرح سے جانتے ہیں کہ بزدل ہندو فوج پچھلے ستر سالوں سے میدان جنگ میں لڑ کر ایسا اختیار اپنے زور بازو پر حاصل نہیں کرسکی جبکہ ابھی اس نے چھوٹے چھوٹے کمزور لیکن بہادر پُر جوش مسلح گروپوں کا سامنا کیا ہے۔ وہ دن کیا شاندار دن ہوگا جب خلیفہ راشد کی قیادت میں طاقتور مسلم افواج ہندو کو بدترین شکست فاش دیں گی اور رسول اللہ ﷺ کے جھنڈے کو بلند کریں گی۔

مسلمانو اب بس بہت ہوگیا! حزب التحریر ولایہ پاکستان مسلمانوں کو پکارتی ہے کہ وہ اپنی ڈھال ، اسلامی خلافت ، کو بحال کریں تا کہ رمضان کامیابیوں کا مہینہ بن جائے جیسا کہ ماضی میں صدیوں تک رمضان مسلمانوں کے لیے کامیابیوں کا مہینہ رہا ہے۔ آج بروز پیر 12 جون بمطابق 17 رمضان غزوہ بدر کی سالگرہ ہے جو 2 ہجری میں لڑی گئی تھی۔ یقیناً غزوہ بدر ہم سب کے لیے اس بات کی یاد دہانی ہے کہ جب مسلمانوں کا امام ہوتا ہے جو اسلام کی بنیاد پر حکمرانی کررہا ہو اور اللہ کے سواء کسی سے نہ ڈرتا ہو تو اس بات کے باوجود کے ان کا دشمن ان سے تعداد ااور اسلحے میں کتنا ہی برتر کیوں نہ ہو مسلمان اپنے دشمنوں پر کامیابیاں حاصل کرتے تھے۔ مسلم نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا،

إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ فَإِنْ أَمَرَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَدَلَ كَانَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ وَإِنْ يَأْمُرْ بِغَيْرِهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ

“بے شک امام (خلیفہ) ہی ڈھال ہے جس کے پیچھے رہ کر لڑا جاتا ہے اور اسی کے ذریعے تحفظ حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ اگر وہ اللہ عز و جل کا خوف رکھتا ہے اور انصاف کرتا ہے تو اس کے کے لیے اجر عظیم ہے اور اگر وہ اس سے ہٹ کر عمل کرتا ہے تو اس کا وبال اسی پر آتا ہے “۔

غزوہ بدر اس بات کی یاد دہانی کراتا ہے کہ جب مسلمانوں کی حفاظت ایسا امام کرتا تھا جو اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی سے نہ ڈرتا تھا تو ان کے جنگجووں کا ایمان بڑھتا چلا گیا جس نے ان کی صلاحیتوں کو کئی گنا بڑھا دیا اور اس طرح ان کے دشمنوں میں ان کا خوف بیٹھ گیا اور کامیابی کی راہ ہموار ہو گئی۔ مسلم نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ اور ان کے صحابہ بدر میں مشرکین سے پہلے پہنچے، اور جب وہ(مشرکین) پہنچے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کہا،

لا يقدمن أحد منكم إلى شيء حتى أكون أنا دونه‏

“تم میں سے کوئی بھی مجھ سے آگے نہ بڑھے”

۔ جب مشرکین قریب آگئے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کہا،

قوموا إلى جنة عرضها السماوات والأرض‏

“اب اٹھو اور جنت کی جانب بڑھتے چلو جس کی وسعت اتنی ہے جتنی زمین و آسمان کے درمیان ہے “،

عمیر بن الحمام رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا: “کیا جنت زمین اور آسمان کی وسعت جتنی وسیع ہے؟” رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس کا جواب اثابت میں دیا ۔ عمیر نے کہا: “زبردست!” رسول اللہ ﷺ نے پوچھا، ما يحملك على قولك بخ بخ “کس بات نے تمہیں یہ پوچھنے پر مجبور کیا؟” عمیر نے جواب دیا: کسی چیز نے نہیں اے اللہ کے رسول! صرف اس بات کی امید کرتا ہوں کہ میں بھی اس میں رہنے والوں میں شامل ہو جاؤ”۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کہا، فإنك من أهلها “تم یقیناً ان میں شامل ہو گے” ۔ عمیر نے کچھ کھجوریں اپنے تھیلے میں سے نکالیں اور انہیں کھانے لگے لیکن پھر کچھ ہی دیر بعد کہا: “اگر میں اتنی دیر بھی زندہ رہوں کہ یہ کھجوریں کھا سکوں تو یہ ایک طویل زندگی ہو گی”۔ لہٰذا انہوں نے کھجوریں پھینک دیں اور دشمنوں سے لڑنے لگے یہاں تک کہ شہید ہو گئے۔

لیکن آج ایسی ڈھال کی غیر موجودگی اور بصیرت سے عاری قیادت کے بوجھ کی وجہ سے ہماری کیا صورتحال ہے اگرچہ مسلمانوں کے پاس تیس لاکھ سے زائد فوج موجود ہے؟ اپنی ڈھال کے بغیر صورتحال یہ ہے کہ اس امت کے مقابلے میں انتہائی چھوٹی چھوٹی قومیں بھی اس پر حملہ آور ہیں جیسا کہ برما کے حکمران، اور بزدل بھی اس پر حملہ آور ہیں جیسا کہ یا یہودی وجود، ہندو ریاست اور صلیبی امریکہ۔ اس بات کی فوری ضرورت ہے کہ مسلمان نبوت کےطریقے پر خلافت کے قیام کی اپنی اسلامی ذمہ داری کو پورا کریں۔ اور اس بات کی بھی فوری ضرورت ہے کہ افواج کے افسران خود کو مجرم حکمرانوں سے آزاد کرائیں جنہوں نے انہیں باندھ رکھا ہے اور امت کی ڈھال، خلافت کے قیام کے لیے حزب التحریر کو نصرۃ فراہم کریں۔
