Announcing the Results of the New Moon Sighting of the Month of the Blessed Ramadan Year 1437 AH

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِيۤ أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضاً أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

“The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” [TMQ 2:185]

All Praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, allies, and those who followed in his path making the Islamic Aqeedah the basis for their thoughts and the Ahkaam Shari’ah (Legislative Rulings) the measure for their actions and source for their rulings.

Al-Bukhari reported in his Sahih, by the chain of Muhammad bin Zeyad who said: I heard Abu Hurairah (ra) say: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says:

صوموا لرویتہ و افطروا لرویتہ، فان غبِّی علیکم فاکملوا عدّۃ شعبان ثلاثین

“Fast when you see it, and break your fast when you see it, and if the weather is cloudy do calculate it (the months of Shabaan and Shawwal) as thirty days.”

After investigation of the moon of the blessed month of Ramadan on this night, the night of Monday, a valid sighting of the New Moon of Ramadan has taken place according to the Shari’ah requirements in some parts of the Muslim lands, therefore, tomorrow – Monday is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.

We all know that Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an and the month of victories in the history of the Muslim Ummah, the Battle of Badr took place in Ramadan, which was named by the Lord of the Worlds, as the Day of Furqaan (criterion), because in it, The Almighty made a distinction between the truth (Al-Haqq) and falsehood (Al-Baatil). The conquering of Makkah also took place in Ramadhan.

Whereas in the year 13 AH, the month of Ramadan witnessed the Battle of Buwaib, led by the feat commander Al-Muthanna bin Al-Haritha, in which the number of Muslims in this battle were 8000 only, while the Persians numbered 100,000; nevertheless, it was a great victory for the Muslims.

In the month of Ramadhan, the year 92 AH, was the Battle of Wadi in Ribaat where the Muslims – numbered 12,000 men – led by Tariq bin Ziyad (rahimahullah), met against 100,000 crusader Spanish men, led by Roderick, and were victorious an apparent victory. The battle continued for eight consecutive days, and its impact changed the history of the whole region in North Africa and in Western Europe, rather, the whole history of Europe.

On 25th Ramadan, 658 AH, a battle took place that shook the whole world, it is the Battle of Ayn Jalout, in which was the resounding Islamic victory led by Saifuddin Qutuz (rahimahullah) against the hordes of the Tatars, breaking their insolence after they afflicted the people with cruel suffering.

Indeed, in this all lies an exhortation and a lesson for those who reflect, the month of fasting and reciting the Qur’an is not a month of laziness and sleep, rather it is a month of faith motivating the work to uphold the word of Allah (swt) by implementing His rule and defeating His enemies.

We therefore call unto you to work with us to end the effects of the Sykes-Picot which disunited the Ummah and divided it into tens of weak entities led by treacherous rulers who fight Allah and His Messenger, disbanding the laws of Allah (swt) and fighting against the Da’wah carriers who work to implement the Deen of Allah.

We call on Muslims to join their wudhu-purified hands with our hands in Hizb ut Tahrir, who is engaged in heated intellectual clash and political struggle, revealing the colonial western plans, and clarifying for you the straight path of Islam, so that Allah (swt) records on your hands victory and establishment for the Ummah of Islam, and the implementation of Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood and nothing else. And so that Allah (swt) may bring a manifest victory at the hands of the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah, and pledging allegiance to him as a Khaleefah ruling by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Honorable Prophet (saw), thus you establish the true laws of Allah, and to carry the call of Islam as a beacon of light and guidance for all mankind. The Islamic Ummah therefore returns as the best nation ever sent to mankind.

O officers of the Muslim armies, know that Allah (swt) grants victory to His Deen if not on your hands, then on the hands of others of the loyal ones, who are honored by the dignity of giving victory to the Deen of Allah, so do not let this great honor pass you, align yourselves with the rows of the Ummah in order to gain the pleasure of Allah (swt) and the honor of this world and the Hereafter.

It is also my pleasure to relay the congratulations of the Head of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir and all those working in it to the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah, and to all the Muslims for this blessed month, asking Allah Almighty to redeem us from the Hellfire in the month of mercy and forgiveness, and we ask Him (swt) to allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr and bless us with its rewards…

Oh Allah, the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth, honor us with pledging allegiance to the Khaleefah of the Muslims in the second Righteous Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, sooner than later… Allahuma ameen ameen ameen.

Allah the Almighty spoke the Truth in His Glorious Qur’an:

أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

“The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.” [TMQ 16:1]

1437 ہجری کے مبارک ماہِ رمضان کے چاند کی رویت کا اعلان

اعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم

میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں اللہ کی شیطان مردود سے

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِيۤ أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضاً أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

“رمضان وہ مہینہ ہے جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا جو انسانوں کے لئے سراسر ہدایت ہے اور ایسی واضح تعلیمات پر مشتمل ہے جو راہ راست دیکھانے والی اور حق و باطل کا فرق کھول کر رکھ دینے والی ہے۔ لہٰذا جو شخص اِس مہینے کو پائے، اس پر لازم ہے کہ اس پورے مہینے کے روزے رکھے۔ اور جو کوئی مریض ہو یا سفر پر ہو تو وہ دوسرے دنوں میں روزوں کی تعداد پوری کرے۔ اللہ تمہارے ساتھ نرمی کرنا چاہتا ہے، سختی کرنا نہیں چاہتا۔ اس لیے یہ طریقہ تمہیں بتایا جا رہا ہے تاکہ تم روزوں کی تعداد پوری کرسکو اور جس ہدایت سے اللہ نے تمہیں سرفراز کیا ہے، اس پر اللہ کی کبریائی کا اظہار و اعتراف کرو اور شکر گزار بنو” (البقرۃ:185)۔

تمام تعریفیں اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ کے لئے اور درود و سلامتی ہو اللہ کے رسول ﷺ، ان کے خاندان، صحابہ، ساتھیوں اور ان پر جنہوں نے ان کی پیروی کی، اسلامی عقیدے کو اپنے افکار کی بنیاد بنایا اور احکام شریعہ کو اپنے اعمال اور فیصلوں کا پیمانہ بنایا۔

البخاری نے اپنی صحیح میں محمد بن زیاد سے روایت کیا ہے کہ انھوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سےسنا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:

صوموا لرویتہ و افطروا لرویتہ، فان غبِّی علیکم فاکملوا عدّۃ شعبان ثلاثین

“چاند کو دیکھ کر روزہ رکھو اور اسی کو دیکھ کر افطار کرو، اگر بادل ہوں تو پھر شعبان کے تیس پورے کرو”

آج کی رات، یعنی پیر کی رات، رمضان کے مقدس مہینے کے چاند کی تحقیق کی گئ اور شرعی تقاضوں کے مطابق مسلم دنیا کے کچھ حصوں میں رمضان کا نیا چاند دیکھا گیا۔ لہٰذا کل، یعنی پیر رمضان کے مقدس مہینےکا پہلا دن ہوگا۔

ہم سب جانتے ہیں کہ رمضان، قرآن کا مہینہ ہے اور مسلم امہ کی تاریخ میں کامیابیوں کا مہینہ ہے۔ غزوہ بدر اسی مہینے میں ہوئی تھی، جسے تمام کائنات کے مالک نے فرقان (پیمانے) کا دن قرار دیا کیونکہ اس میں اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ نے حق اور باطل کے درمیان فرق کو واضح کر دیا۔ مکہ بھی اسی مہینے میں فتح ہوا تھا۔

تیرہ ہجری کے رمضان میں جنگ بویب ہوئی جس میں مسلم افواج کی قیادت المثنی بن الحارثہ نے کی۔ اس جنگ میں مسلمانوں کی تعداد صرف آٹھ ہزار تھی جبکہ فارس کی افواج کی تعداد ایک لاکھ تھی۔ لیکن اس کے باوجود اس جنگ میں مسلمانوں کو شاندار فتح نصیب ہوئی۔

رمضان کا ہی مہینہ تھا اور سال تھا بانوے (92) ہجری، جب برباط میں جنگ وادی ہوئی۔ مسلمانوں کی تعداد بارہ ہزار تھی اور ان کی قیادت طارق بن زیاد ؒ کر رہے تھے۔ مسلمانوں کا مقابلہ ایک لاکھ ہسپانوی صلیبی افواج سے تھا جن کی قیادت روڈریک کر رہا تھا۔ اس جنگ میں اللہ نے مسلمانوں کو فتح سے ہمکنار کیا جبکہ یہ جنگ مسلسل آٹھ دن تک جاری رہی۔ اس فتح نے شمالی افریقی اور مغربی یورپ بلکہ پورے یورپ کی تاریخ بدل دی۔

25 رمضان 658 ہجری کو ایک ایسی جنگ ہوئی جس نے پوری دنیا کو ہلا کر رکھ دیا۔ یہ عین جالوت کی جنگ تھی جس میں سیف الدین قطز کی قیادت میں مسلمانوں نے تاتاریوں کو عبر ناک شکست سے دوچار، ان کے غرور و تکبر کو ملیامیٹ اور لوگوں کے خلاف ان کے وحشیانہ مظالم کا خاتمہ کر دیا۔

یقیناً ان سب واقعات میں ہمارے لئے سبق ہے کہ روزے اور قرآن کا مہینہ نیند اور کاہلی کا مہینہ نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ مہینہ ہے اللہ کے کلمہ کو بلند کرنے کا یعنی اس کے احکام کو نافذ کرنے اور اس کے دشمنوں کو شکست دینے کا۔

لہٰذا ہم آپ سے کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے ساتھ مل کر کام کریں تاکہ سکائی–پیکوٹ کے اثرات کا خاتمہ کر دیں جس نے امت کو بکھیر دیا، دسیوں چھوٹی چھوٹی کمزور اکائیوں میں تقسیم کر دیا اور ان کی قیادت غداروں کے ہاتھوں میں تھما دی گئی، جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ سے لڑتے ہیں، اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ کے قوانین کو چھوڑ چکے ہیں اور اسلام کے داعیوں کے خلاف لڑتے ہیں جو اللہ کے دین کے نفاذ کے لئے کام کرتے ہیں۔

ہم مسلمانوں کو پکارتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے باوضو ہاتھ حزب التحریر کے ہاتھ سے ملا لیں، جو زبردست فکری ٹکراؤ اور سیاسی جدوجہد کر رہی ہے، مغربی استعماری طاقتوں کے عزائم کو بے نقاب کر رہی ہے، اور آپ پر اسلام کے سیدھے راستے کو واضح کر رہی ہے تاکہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ آپ کے ہاتھوں سے کامیابی عطا فرمائے اور اسلام کی امت کو قائم فرمائے اور نبوت کے طریقے پر خلافت نافذ فرمائے۔ اور اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ مشہور فقیہ، امیر حزب التحریر عطا بن خلیل ابو الراشتہ کی قیادت میں کامیابی عطا فرمائے اور ہم انہیں کتاب اللہ اور سنت رسول کی بنیاد پر حکمرانی کرنے لئے بیعت دیں تاکہ آپ اللہ کے قوانین کو نافذ کریں اور اسلام کے پیغام سے پوری انسانیت کو روشناس کریں۔ اور اس طرح اسلامی امہ پوری انسانیت کے لئے بہترین قوم کی صورت میں واپس آئے۔

مسلم افواج کے افسران! جان لو کہ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ اپنے دین کو کامیابی عطا فرمائیں گے اور اگر یہ کام تمہارے ہاتھوں سے نہ ہوا تو اللہ اپنے دوسرے وفادار بندوں سے یہ کام لے لے گا، جنہیں اللہ کے دین کو کامیابی دلانے کا شرف حاصل ہوگا۔ لہٰذا اس عظیم اجر کو پانے کا موقع جانے نہ دو، اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ کی رضا اور دنیا و آخرت کی عزت و کامیابی کے لئے امت کی صفوں میں شامل ہو جاؤ۔

میرے لیے یہ باعث مسرت ہے کہ میں حزب التحریر کے میڈیا آفس کے سربراہ اور امیر حزب التحریر، مشہور فقیہ عطا بن خلیل ابو الرشتہ کے آفس میں کام کرنے والوں کی جانب سے تمام مسلمانوں کو اس مقدس مہینے کی مبارک باد پیش کروں۔ اللہ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ اس رحم و مغفرت والے مہینے میں ہمیں جہنم کی آگ سے نجات عطا فرمادے اور ہم اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ سے دعا کرتے ہیں کہ ہمیں لیلتہ القدر اور اس کی برکات نصیب فرمائے۔۔

اے اللہ، زمین و آسمان کے مالک، ہمیں یہ عزت افزائی نصیب فرما کہ ہم بہت جلد نبوت کے طریقے پر قائم ہونے والی دوسری خلافت راشدہ کے خلیفہ کو بیعت دیں۔۔۔اللھم آمین آمین آمین۔

اللہ سبحانہ و تعالٰی نے اپنی عظیم کتاب میں یہ حق فرمایا ہے کہ:

أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

“آگیا اللہ کا فیصلہ، اب اس کے لئے جلدی نہ مچاؤ۔ پاک ہے وہ اور بالا و برتر ہے اس شرک سے جو یہ لوگ کر رہے ہیں” (النحل:1)

واسلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ
