End Persecution of Hizb ut-Tahrir

As part of a series highlighting the personalities of Hizb ut-Tahrir who are being persecuted by the regime, we present the case of Saad Jagranvi.

Saad Jagranvi is now 42 years old, married with nine children and a business man. He was arrested late in the night of 22^nd April 2015 in a raid on the Gulberg Galleria Shopping Mall in Lahore, where he has an outlet.

Saad Jagranvi is from an established and well-known family in Lahore who for generations have been herbal practitioners. He is an alumni of the elite Garrisons Boys School and undertook studies at Kingston University in London.

Saad Jagranvi is the Chairman of Hizb ut-Tahrir’s Central Contact Committee in the Wilayah of Pakistan. Saad Jagranvi has become a prominent national advocate for the Khilafah and has worked tirelessly for Islam, despite repeated arrests and bouts of severe torture. He has addressed audience throughout the country and is well-respected as a powerful and dynamic speaker. As the Chairman of the Central Contact Committee he has established relations with the key influential and notable people in the country.

حزب التحریر کے خلاف ظلم وستم ختم کرو

سعد جگرانوی کو رہا کرو جو 22 اپریل 2015 سے پابند سلاسل ہیں

حزب التحریر ولایہ پاکستان نے حزب التحریر کی ان شخصیات کو سامنے لانے کا سلسلہ شروع کیا ہے جو حکومت کے ظلم و جبر کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں، اور سلسلے میں سعد جگرانوی کا مقدمہ پیش کر رہے ہیں۔

42 سالہ سعد جگرانوی ایک کاروباری شخصیت ہیں۔ وہ شادی شدہ اور نو بچوں کے باپ ہیں۔ انہیں 22 اپریل 2015 کو گلبرگ گیلریا شاپنگ مال میں موجود ان کے شوروم سے گرفتار کیا گیا تھا۔

سعد جگرانوی کا تعلق لاہور کے ایک انتہائی مشہور و معروف خاندان سے ہے جو کئی نسلوں سے حکمت کے پیشے سے منسلک ہے۔ انہوں نے ایلیٹ گریژن بوائز اسکول سے ابتدائی تعلیم حاصل کرنے کے بعد کنگسٹن یونیورسٹی لندن سے اپنی تعلیم مکمل کی۔

سعد جگرانوی ولایہ پاکستان میں حزب التحریر کی مرکزی رابطہ کمیٹی کے چیرمین ہیں۔ سعد جگرانوی قوی سطح پرخلافت کے ایک انتہائی مشہور و معروف داعی بن کر سامنے آئے ہیں۔ اس بات کے باوجود کہ ان کو کئی بار گرفتار اور شدید تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا گیا، وہ اسلام کے لئے بھر پور طریقے سے کام کرتے رہے۔ انہوں نے پورے ملک میں جگہ جگہ لوگوں سے خطاب فرمایا ہے اور ایک جوشیلے مقرر کے طور پر ان کی عزت کی جاتی ہے۔ مرکزی رابطہ کمیٹی کے چیرمین کی حیثیت میں انہوں نے ملک کی کئی بااثر اور معزز افراد سے بامعنی تعلقات قائم کیے اور انہیں خلافت کی فرضیت اور اس کے ڈھانچے سے آگاہ کیا۔
