Rulers lose their senses – attempt to link Hizb with terrorism! Hizb ut-Tahrir denies the baseless news of arrest of its eight members in Karachi
The rulers are so perplexed at Hizb ut-Tahrir’s intellectual and political struggle and its growing influence in the society that they have started to portray Hizb as a terrorist organization by pushing baseless and false news reports in the media. On the 7th of March 2010, various T.V. channels aired the news that eight activists of Hizb ut-Tahrir carrying arms have been arrested in Karachi.
Subsequently the same news was circulated in print media next day. Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly rejects such a claim and denies any arrests of its members let alone armed members. Actually a petition is being heard in Lahore High court challenging the ban which was filed four years ago and the rulers so far have failed to present even a single evidence to link Hizb with terrorism. Therefore by circulating baseless news in the media about an incident that never took place, government wants to forge false evidence against Hizb ut-Tahrir. Everyone knows that since 1953 Hizb ut-Tahrir uses political and intellectual means to establish KHizb and she considers it haram to resort to violence or use sectarianism. The biggest proof of Hizb’s claim is the notification itself through which the Interior Ministry banned Hizb on 20th November 2003. According to the notification not a single reason was given for banning Hizb ut-Tahrir. For this very reason in 2004 and 2005, the anti terrorist court of Karachi released the Hizb’s members by declaring that in their view the banning notification is defective since it provides no reason for banning the party. We would like to reiterate to the rulers that Hizb will continue its political and intellectual struggle and this these cheap and baseless lies cannot deter Hizb from its struggle. And the prophecy of Muhammad (s.a.w) will be fulfilled inshallah “and once again Hizb will be established on the footsteps of Prophethood”. (Musnad Ahmed)
