After completing its month long campaign, Hizb ut-Tahrir is all set to launching the bold declaration to the people of power tomorrow, 9th May, 2010. Hizb has selected Islamabad national press club as the venue to issue this declaration at 3:00 pm, whereby a powerful message will be delivered to the people of power to rescue Pakistan and the Muslims from this dire situation. Earlier, under American diktats, government’s secret agencies have threatened to link Hizb with terrorism when they visited the homes of Hizb members in order to harass them. They visited the members in Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan and Rawalpindi.  And even now they are present outside the house of a member in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.  It can be expected from America and its agents that they may use bomb blasts, which they conduct quite regularly, to sway the attention of people and media away from this important event.  Furthermore, this possibility cannot be ruled out that these agencies and sarkari (government) thugs may sabotage public property and create commotion in order to discredit Hizb’s non-violent struggle in the eyes of the Ummah.  Or they may leak a so-called intelligence report through the media in order like her with terrorism.  We wish to inform the media and the public to beware of such government tactics. Moreover, Hizb has nothing to do with any such activity nor do they help in bringing a change. Hizb warns the government and its agents that any such act will only serve to diminish the already crumbled credibility of the government as the masses and the media are well aware of the non-militant struggle of the Hizb. Hizb will immediately expose any such conspiracy in front of the public. We request the media that they should abstain from printing or broadcasting any such news without proper scrutiny and investigation.
